Free QR Code Generator: Text, Link & Wi-Fi
Choose the QR Code type and fill in the fields. The code updates on its own.
A QR Code is a two-dimensional barcode any phone camera can read. The Wi-Fi one follows a format recognized natively by both Android and iOS: point the camera and the phone offers to connect right away, no password typing needed.
The QR Code is generated entirely in your browser — no data (including Wi-Fi passwords) is sent to any server. The Wi-Fi format follows the standard recognized by Android and iOS, but the final read depends on the device's own QR Code reader.
Frequently asked questions
Does the Wi-Fi QR Code work on any phone?
It works on the two main ones: the native iPhone camera (iOS 11+) and most Android phones recognize the format automatically and offer to connect right away.
Is my Wi-Fi password stored anywhere?
No. The QR Code is generated entirely in your browser — the password never leaves your computer or gets sent to any server.
Can I generate a QR Code for a WhatsApp or social media link?
Yes, use the "Text or link" tab and paste the link. Any text or URL works.
Why do I need to choose the network's security type?
Because the QR Code's format changes depending on it: WPA/WPA2/WPA3 networks require a password, and an open network doesn't use that field. Choosing the wrong one makes the phone try to connect the wrong way.
