According to TechCrunch, OpenAI has integrated voice-based agentic capabilities directly into the ChatGPT mobile app. This update allows users to trigger complex workflows on their smartphones entirely through voice commands.
How does the mobile Work tab function?
Plus and Pro subscribers now gain access to a dedicated Work tab on their mobile devices. Users can issue voice prompts to draft documents, summarize Slack messages, build sites, or handle financial tasks while away from their desks.
Unlike desktop setups that keep workspaces separate from standard chats, the mobile experience lets users easily switch between voice and text. You can start a task on your phone during a commute and seamlessly finish it on your desktop later.
